Before we begin, let me quickly introduce myself!
My name is Nate Babbs, I’m a working drummer/producer/educator here in Minneapolis, MN, and I will be “the guy behind the keyboard” for The Drummer’s Tackle Box. I’ve been playing drums professionally since 2009 upon returning from Boston where I attended/graduated from the Berklee College of Music and I’ve been fortunate enough to make my living from drums one way or another ever since then. Whether touring, recording, teaching or freelancing, drums have been my entire professional life, as well as my most enthusiastic hobby since I was a kid. I discovered Tackle Instrument Supply in late 2016, and when I learned the shop was located not far from my home in south Minneapolis, I knew it was only a matter of time before I got in to meet Scott and see what he was doing first hand. Once I did, it was pretty clear that he was doing something unique and heartfelt, and I’m super stoked to be a part of it!
So stand by, fellow nerds. Lots of content is coming your way soon!
